Ultramax awning: new style (smooth outer arm, 1996)

Hardware changes:


Colors - satin finish is replaced by gray

Current hardware is compatible with ALL ultra awnings with these exceptions.

Old style rafters - top section was a slotted tube, the lower section a solid tube, current parts are exactly the opposite. If your upper rafter is slotted, you must replace both sections.

Inner arms are now the same front and rear, to use new style inner arms for the rear, the outer arm section must also be replaced, or the release knob must be moved to the opposite side of the arm, or the inner arm may be drilled in the most common adjustment locations.

Inner Arm Assembly

***96 and newer***, front and rear are the same and will fit front of older (pre 1996) hardware

To replace old "rear" inner arms with new inner arms, the outer arm section must be replaced, or the release knob must be moved to the opposite side of the arm, or the inner arm may be drilled in the most common adjustment locations.

Rafter arm sections are only available in the style shown. Older Ultra rafter arm sections are constructed exactly opposite of the current parts. To replace older rafter sections both halves must be ordered. See graphic at top.

The main outer arm is also only available in the new style, which will work with the older inner arm.
